Rita Harvey's Heart Like A Wheel, A Tribute to the Music of Linda Ronstadt celebrates one of the most beloved and versatile pop singers of the past five decades. Hear the hits that Linda Ronstadt helped make famous ("You're No Good," "Blue Bayou," "When Will I Be Loved," "It's So Easy," "That'll Be the Day," "Desperado," "Heat Wave" and many others) as well as stories behind the songs that highlighted her career. These timeless favorites are performed by Broadway star Rita Harvey, backed up by four incredible rock musicians. Co-written and directed by DJ Salsbury.
Ticket sales for this event goes towards this year's Penguin Plunge recipients, Riley Reynolds and Kieran O'Neill.
Riley is a spirited 3 year old from West Nyack, NY, who was born with a condition where the bones in her skull fuse prematurely, causing problems with brain growth and head shape. Riley has already had seven surgeries and will need more surgery when she regains her strength from her past ordeals.
Kieran, 9, from Pearl River, NY, was diagnosed with Autism five years ago after a bout with back-to-back strep infections. He has since been diagnosed with PANDAS, a pediatric neuropsychiatric disorder that requires many treatments that are not covered by insurance.
